Mikaila & Derek were married on a very windy, slightly chilly day at Willow in the Woods. Despite being cold, their love warmed up the day. They added so many unique details into their wedding day from having their pup there, to adding elements of fishing to their ceremony and of course the personal songs their friend sang. There weren’t many dry eyes that day.

These two are ridiculously fun and we ended up venture to the Black Dog on Whyte ave where they shared their first date for some of the photos and of course a quick beverage.

The reception was held at the Log Cabin in Sherwood Park and they decorated it so perfectly with hints of gold and tons of greenery. I haven’t seen the Log Cabin look this beautiful before. Their speeches were moving and again there were a lot of tears.
