I was honored to spend a week in Cuba for Nicki and John’s intimate beach wedding. Not only do I love Cuba, I love this couple. First of all, they are hilarious – seriously. I don’t think there was a moment when at least one person was not laughing or smiling contagiously. They are incredibly in love,  the moment during the ceremony when Jon went and wiped a tear of Nicki’s cheek, I may have teared up – just a tad. They are also super laid back and their bridal party was particularly awesome as well.

The first few days before the wedding I was able to scope out some locations and venture around the resort. I asked a few people there where would be a good place to take wedding photos – they suggested the Casa Dupont. A few days before the wedding my Mom and I went to check it out and well it took my breath away. I knew with out a doubt we NEEDED to take photos there. We managed to sneak away after the ceremony just at sunset to get the perfect photos of the two love birds as the sunset behind them,  I was speechless. It was something that happens only once in a life time.
